Hi Yashodhan,
Appearing for GMAT is a simple yet time-taking process. It takes months to prepare for the exam. Though the exam is conducted round the year, it is always better to take one step at a time. In order to appear for GMAT, please note the following:
1. Start preparing for GMAT asap: http://studyabroad.eservicestar.com/exams/gmat/preparation-tips
2. Give yourself enough time. If needed join a coaching centre: http://studyabroad.eservicestar.com/exams/gmat/best-coaching-center-for-prep.
3. When you find yourself ready for the exam, select an exam date. Book your exam date/register on GMAT official website at least 2-3 months in advance: http://studyabroad.eservicestar.com/exams/gmat/slot-booking
4. Choose your Test Centre wisely: http://studyabroad.eservicestar.com/exams/gmat/gmat-test-centres-in-india
5. Once you are thorough with everything, check out how to plan your day: http://studyabroad.eservicestar.com/exams/gmat/planning-your-test-day-for-gmat-exam.
All the best!
